This Christmas pack is crammed full of fun phonics games for your little one.

The games in this pack are designed to help your child practise recognising the Phase 3 phonemes (ch, sh, th, ng, ai, ee, igh, oa, oo, ar, or, ur, ow oi, ear, air, ure, er), identifying words that contain them and practise writing them. 
The letters on the cards have been organised into groups following the order that letters are introduced in the scheme 'Letters and Sounds'.
 
Peg cards - place a peg on the correct spelling for the corresponding picture.
 
Light up the tree - Identify the sounds on the lights and cover them with a button, counter, or colour them in when you have said each sound.
 
Roll it, Cover it, Write it - Roll a phonics dice (You can buy blank dice and write the graphemes on them, make your own out of card or write the sounds on individual pieces of paper, fold them over and let your child pick from a bowl or bag)  Say the sound, Cover the corresponding picture with a pom pom or alternative item, find the grapheme at the bottom of the card and draw over the letters.
